Enyimba heads to Bauchi for cup final

After claiming its second trophy for the past season in Ijebu-Ode, Enyimba players will not be getting any rest day ahead of its FA Cup final game against Kaduna United this weekend in Kano.
A club official disclosed to Naijaligue.blogspot.com on Monday that the contingent of Enyimba consisting of players and officials will leave Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State for Bauchi in order to prepare for the cup final.
He explained that the choice of Bauchi was reached by the club due to its proximity to Kano.
He added that the stadium in Bauchi also will afford the team to train on the synthetic turf, just as it acclimatise for the weather.
It will be recalled that chairman of the club, Felix Anyansi-Agwu, had threatened to boycott the game if the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) fails to officially assure the Aba side of protection while in Kano for the cup final.
