Zikiye makes The Predictor's XI again

I have picked Nembe City left wing back, Jonathan Zikiye (pictured), as my star man for this week's team of the Glo Premier League Matchday 23.

It is the third time Zikiye is making my team this season after previously being named in my matchday five and 21 teams.

The former Bayelsa United wing back ran Nasarawa United down on the flank by bombing forward.

Zikiye, who has scored two league goals in 17 appearances this season for City, capped it up with an eye-catching volley for a goal off Ebitimi Agogu's assist on Sunday.

For the first time this season, Chijioke Ejiogu, also known as Arugo Monkey, makes my team as the number one.

The goalkeeper practically kept Sharks in the game at Kwara United. At a point, he pulled off two saves from Kabiru Sanusi and then another from Jimoh Oseni at close range.

Ejiogu's performance dwarfed that of Wikki Tourists custodian, Ayo Segun, who was a monster between the sticks against Bayelsa United.

The trio of Brown Braye, Adebayo Adigun and Peter Jang will join Zikiye in my defence.

I have settled for three central midfield players in Suleiman Usman, Stone Evbuomwan and Chidiebere Okolie while the pair of Ezioha Okereke and Ndubuisi Ekwuruibe will play behind the lone striker, Babangida Ibrahim.

Gbenga Ogunbote of Sharks is my coach of the week after guiding his team to secure a draw against all odds.
